Coastal Samaritan Counseling Center has opened a satellite office at the Church to provide convenient access to those who live in the Carolina Forest area. Jane Osment, LPC will be available as counselor for those seeking professional counseling or consultation by appointment.
C. Jane Osment was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina. She worked in Human Resources until 1998. Jane received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Religious Studies from the University of Dubuque in 2001. In 2003, Jane received a Master of Arts In Religion Degree from The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. In 2007, Jane received a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia. Currently, Jane is certified and ready to receive a call with Trinity Presbytery (PC USA) in Columbia, SC. Jane has been recognized for her creative writing, poetry, and artwork. Jane feels called to the ministry of Pastoral Counseling and is open to Gods leadership as she completes her Master in Marriage and Family Therapy degree with Liberty University in Lynchburg VA. She joined the staff at Coastal Samaritan Counseling Center in May 2010. Jane serves with her husband, the Rev. Dr. Timothy A. Osment, who is the pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Loris. Tim and Jane have two children, Callie and Daniel.
